Directorate General of health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has been entrusted with the responsibility to hold on-line Counselling for 15% AIQ seats for UG courses , 50% AIQ seats for PG courses & 100% seats in Super-specialty courses (DM/Mch) , as per various Gazette notification of NMC, various Court orders & notifications of MoHFW.

Types of Counselling:

All the NEET (UG, PG, SS) aspirants are hereby informed that MCC of DGHS conducts counselling mentioned as under:

UG Counselling:

1. 15% All India Quota seats of all states including Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, this year onwards. (UT of J&K will also contribute their 50% broad specialty Medical/ Dental seats for the All India Quota counselling conducted by MCC of DGHS).
2. 100%MBBS/ BDS Seats of BHU,
3. 100% MBBS Seats of AIIMS across India,
4. 100% JIPMER seats (Puducherry/ Karaikal),
5. 100% AMU
6. 85% of State Quota seats of DU/ I.P University (VMMC/ ABVIMS/ESIC Dental),
7. 100% -Faculty of Dentistry (Jamia Milia Islamia) along with 5% internal Quota of Jamia students
8. 15% IP quota seats of ESIC.

PG Counselling:

MCC conducts Counselling for the following Institutions/Universities:

1. 50% All India Quota seats of all states including Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, this year onwards. (UT of J&K will also contribute their 50% broad specialty Medical/ Dental seats for the All India Quota counselling conducted by MCC of DGHS).
2. 100% seats (All India Quota seats + Institutional Quota seats) of Central Universities (Aligarh Muslim University/ Banaras Hindu University/ University of Delhi/ Central Institutes as per eligibility conditions as provided by the respective college/institute.
3. 100% seats of Deemed Universities.
4. 50% AIQ P.G seats of colleges under Employee State Insurance Corporation (wards of ESIC insured persons).
5. Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions (only Registration part).

Super Specialty Counselling

The MCC has been entrusted with the responsibility to conduct counselling for 100% seats of the contributing states, for the course of DM/Mch across country for State/ Private College & Deemed Universities by the Directorate General of Health Services, MoHFW, except INI (Institute of National Importance) institutes.

Pondicherry has total 3 Medical Colleges offering MBBS Course and accepting NEET UG  as on June 2019 among these 3 Medical Colleges 1 is Government Medical College i.e Indira Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute and 2 are private Minority Medical Colleges and 1 is Private Non-Minority Medical College. In Pondicherry total number of 600  MBBS Seats available in all Medical Colleges, among these 600 MBBS Seats, 150 MBBS Seats available in Government  Medical Colleges, 150 MBBS Seats available in private Non-Minority Medical College and 300 MBBS Seats available in Private Minority Medical Colleges. among these 150 MBBS Seats are in Government Medical College 22 MBBS Seats goes to Under All India 15% Quota, 106 MBBS Seats goes to State Government quota and 22 MBBS Seats goes to Under NRI Quota. • If a candidate discontinues the course on or before the last date of counseling of the respective academic year of admission he/she shall have to pay 50,000/- and in case the candidate leaves the course on or after 31st August or during any other subsequent academic years he / she shall pay a sum of Rs. 4,00,000/- as penalty (separate agreement bond should be signed by the candidates and parent/guardian along with two sureties for the aforesaid, which is available with the institute)
• Fees mentioned in parenthesis as ‘Refundable’ shall be refunded after the candidate gets relieved from the institute, upon satisfactory completion of the course.
• Registration fee, Matriculation fee, Recognition fee, University development fee, Sports fee and any other fee that may be levied by the University shall be payable, at the rate as prescribed by the Pondicherry University, within the stipulated time.

Types of Puducherry NEET 2025 Cutoff

 Puducherry MBBS cutoff 2025 can be classified in following Quotas:

1. 15% All India Quota Cutoff: The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of MCC  and DU releases the  DU All India Quota MBBS  cutoff  college-wise and category-wise  in online mode for the students selected under 15% All India Quota seats.
2. 85% Puducherry State Quota Cutoff: The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of MCC and Government of Puducherry, Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) releases the Puducherry State Quota MBBS  cutoff  college-wise and category-wise  in online mode for the students selected under 85% Internal Quota seats.
3. 15% NRI Quota Cutoff: Government of Puducherry, Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) will be regulatory body releases the Puducherry State MBBS NRI Quota Cutoff college-wise, category-wise in online mode for the students selected under 15%  NRI Quota Seats.
